About
Welcome to the new Green Country Scooter Club! What started out as a few friends riding on the weekends is growing to new heights. We’ve decided to create this site for you in order that you may find some new friends and take more rides as well as have the opportunity to visit places in and around green country the you may never thought existed.
We haveĀ one primary rule with our rides that some clubs don’t. We ride only as fast as the slowest scoot. So, don’t feel intimidated is you only have a 50cc scoot, you’re welcome to ride along.
Our goal for this riding season (which in our case tends to be year round) is to ride every decent weathered weekend. Even some not so decent weathered weekends. The plan is to ride Saturday one weekend and Sunday the next in order to give those with Saturday or Sunday obligations to enjoy a couple good rides a month. Plus we are planning some overnight camping style rides as well.
We also advocate the Scooting the Ozarks annual rally in Eureka Springs. We’ve attended it last year and discovered several people we knew were also there from the area. We are planning to attend again this year as a club. Watch for posts regarding the rally.
Tulsa Scooters also hosts a rally every year and as our membership grows we may begin to host it in the future with Tulsa Scooters as a sponser.
And speaking of Tulsa Scooter, we are in no way affiliated with Tulsa Scooter, yet do enjoy their support. Several of the employees and owner are members of Green Country Scooter Club and are willing to answer questions asked here. We’re trying to talk them into posting for us occasionally.
So, sit back and look around. The site is still new, so bear with us while we start adding content. The look may change a bit as we mature, but the content shouldn’t change. Feel free to leave comments to our posts. We only ask that you register before posting. Registration is free and open to the public. This is a family oriented site and while I have not locked down or blacklisted foul language, it won’t be tolerated.
Look forwarded to seeing you at the rides!

What does one have to do to become a member of this group? I would like to find a scooter club in which I felt I belonged.
